Colombia: Prime Destination for Incentive Trips

Colombia has many fabulous destinations for incentive travel, including Cartagena de Indias, Santa Marta, San Andrés, Bogotá, Medellín, Cali and Santander, to name but a few. ANGRA DOS REIS, BR - Considered one of the most attractive ecological paradises of Brazil, Angra dos Reis (Rio de Janeiro province) will receive further support from the Ministry of Tourism (MTur), in order to provide a high-quality service to more visitors over the coming seasons. The most important project occurring there is the reactivation of the Train of the Atlantic Forest. The route will establish a connection between Angra, Barra Mansa and Rio Claro, and is one of the services within the region with the greatest tourist potential, explained the local Major, Tuca Jordão. Projects of ambient sanitation, reformation of the wharf and the creation of the Unit of Conservation of Ilha Grande will also be provided by the National Programs.

More Inca Structures Discovered In Ancient Convent in Cusco - Peru

CUSCO, PE - The archaeological research investigations in the convent of Los Agustinos in the city of Cusco, the location of a newly constructed Marriot Hotel, have led to the discovery of more structures from the ancient Incan society. Irwin Ferrandiz, head of the archaeological monitoring plan, explained that a recently discovered foundation consists of two walls that will be used to enhance the future hotel complex. Also found was an Inca tomb containing four stone objects and ceramics. Ferrandiz remarked that the structure of the hotel is being adapted around the archaeological findings in order to preserve and protect them.
